Final ‘18 Tax Filing Deadlines Approaching!

Did you file for an extension this year? If so, the final deadlines to file your 2018 taxes this 2019 is approaching.

There are no further extensions permitted.

Individual Tax Returns, Extension Filing Deadline is October 15th 

Individual (1040) tax returns were due April 15thRemember it was an extension to file, not an extension to pay your taxes. If we determined that there was a balance due on the return, penalties and interest will be assessed in addition to the tax.  Until April 15th you had the option to request a 6-month extension to file which extended your deadline to file to October 15th.

California Single Member LLCs, Extension Filing Deadline is October 15th 

Single Member LLCs (Form 568) not owned by a pass-through entity were due on April 15th. If your single member LLC is reported on your personal filings, then your LLC extension is covered by the individual tax return extension to file which extends your deadline to October 15th.  The minimum CA Franchise Board tax fee was due with the extension to file.

C Corporation, Extension Filing Deadline is October 15th 

C corporation (1120) tax returns were due April 15th.  Until April 15th you had the option to request a 6-month extension to file which extended your deadline to file to October 15th. The minimum CA Franchise Board tax fee was due with the extension to file.

S Corporation and Partnership, Extension Filing Deadline is September 15th 

S corporation (Form 1120S) and partnership (Form 1065) tax returns for entities who use the calendar tax year were due March 15th.  Until March 15th you had the option to request a 6-month extension to file which extended your deadline to file to September 15th.  The minimum CA Franchise Tax Board tax fee was due April 15th
