TaxPlus (“we,” “us,” or “our”) maintains this website located at www.taxplus.com (“Site” or “Service”) to provide general information about our tax preparation, tax resolution, business formation, and accounting services to prospective and current clients. All use of this Service is subject to the following terms and conditions, which we reserve the right to modify at any time by posting a revised version. By accessing or using this Service, you agree to be bound by these terms as revised from time to time. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of this Service immediately.
1. About Our Firm & Professional Credentials
TaxPlus is a tax preparation, tax resolution, business formation, and accounting firm operating in Los Angeles, California. Our professionals hold applicable credentials including, but not limited to, Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) licensed by the California Board of Accountancy, IRS Enrolled Agents (EAs), and/or California Tax Education Council (CTEC)-Registered Tax Preparers (CRTPs).
Under California law (Business & Professions Code § 22250 et seq.), all paid tax preparers who are not CPAs, attorneys, or Enrolled Agents are required to register with CTEC. Our CTEC-registered preparers maintain a current IRS Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN), hold a valid surety bond of at least $5,000, and fulfill annual continuing education requirements of 20 hours (including federal and California state tax law updates).
Our tax professionals are subject to IRS Treasury Circular 230 (31 C.F.R. Part 10), which governs practice before the Internal Revenue Service. This includes obligations of due diligence, competence, and ethical conduct in preparing returns and providing tax advice.

This Service, including all text, images, graphics, software, and other content, and the compilation and arrangement thereof, is owned exclusively by TaxPlus and/or our suppliers, and is protected by United States and California copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. All rights are reserved. All trademarks appearing on this Service are the property of their respective owners. You may not use any trademarks without the express prior written permission of the owner.
3. Permitted Use & Restrictions
Permitted Use. You may view and print materials from this Service solely for your own personal, non- commercial informational purposes, provided you retain all copyright and other proprietary notices contained in the original materials.
Prohibited Use. You may not reproduce, frame, distribute, transmit, modify, alter, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from this Service or any portion thereof. Use of spiders, robots, scrapers, or

As of October 1, 2025, California enacted Senate Bill 711 (the Conformity Act of 2025), updating California’s conformity to the Internal Revenue Code from January 1, 2015 to January 1, 2025. 5. Tax Resolution & Resolution Services Disclosure
TaxPlus offers tax resolution services, including assistance with IRS and California Franchise Tax Board (FTB) installment agreements, offers in compromise, penalty abatement requests, audit representation, and other resolution matters. The following disclosures apply:
No Guaranteed Outcomes. We make no guarantee, warranty, or promise regarding the outcome of any tax resolution matter. Resolution results depend on individual facts, financial circumstances, applicable law, and the discretion of the IRS and/or California FTB.
IRS & FTB Representation. Under IRS Circular 230, only attorneys, CPAs, and Enrolled Agents may represent clients in proceedings before the IRS. CTEC-registered preparers may represent clients only for returns they personally prepared and only during examination. Our qualified professionals will advise you regarding the appropriate level of representation for your situation.
California FTB. The California Franchise Tax Board administers California personal income tax, business taxes, and related matters under the California Revenue and Taxation Code. Outcomes in FTB matters are subject to applicable California law and FTB discretion.

6. Business Formation Services Disclosure
TaxPlus provides business formation assistance, including entity selection guidance, preparation of formation documents, and coordination with the California Secretary of State and other applicable agencies. The following disclosures apply:
Not Legal Advice. Business formation services provided by TaxPlus do not constitute legal advice. Entity selection and formation involve legal considerations that may require consultation with a licensed California attorney.
Minimum Franchise Tax. California imposes a minimum annual franchise tax on most business entities operating within the state, including corporations and LLCs. As of the current tax year, the minimum annual franchise tax for most entities is $800, subject to applicable exemptions and exceptions under the California Revenue and Taxation Code. Clients are responsible for understanding and meeting all ongoing California tax obligations for their entities.

7. Accuracy of Information
While we make reasonable efforts to provide accurate and current information on this Site, we do not warrant that any information is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. Personal Information. Taxpayer Confidentiality. Taxpayer information obtained in connection with professional services is protected under applicable federal and California law, including IRC § 7216, which governs the disclosure and use of tax return information, and California Revenue and Taxation Code §§ 19542 and 19542.1.
Data Security. We use reasonable security measures to protect information submitted through this Site; however, no internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure. You submit information at your own risk.

TaxPlus may utilize Google Ads and other digital advertising platforms to promote our services. In connection with such advertising, we adhere to the following:
Accurate Representations. All advertising content accurately reflects the services we offer. We do not make misleading claims, guarantee specific tax outcomes, promise specific refund amounts, or imply government affiliation without authorization. We comply with Google’s Financial Products and Services Advertising Policy, which prohibits misleading or deceptive claims in connection with financial and tax services.
No Guarantee of Results. Any advertising referencing potential tax savings, refunds, or resolution outcomes reflects general possibilities and not guaranteed results. Individual outcomes vary based on each client’s specific facts and circumstances.
Required Disclosures. Our website and landing pages disclose material information about our services, including applicable fees, the nature of services provided, and contact information, consistent with Google’s advertising policies and applicable California and federal law.
Tax Services Registration. Tax preparation services advertised by TaxPlus are provided by professionals registered with the IRS and/or applicable California authorities, consistent with applicable platform and regulatory requirements.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties
As-Is Basis. This Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TaxPlus and its suppliers disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. 11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TaxPlus and its suppliers shall not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the use of this Site, including direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages (including loss of profits, data, or goodwill), even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Certain California laws may limit these exclusions. If such laws apply to you, you may have additional rights.

You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in Los Angeles County, California for resolution of any disputes arising from these terms or your use of this Site.
We make no representation that this Site or its content is appropriate or available for use in other jurisdictions. You are responsible for compliance with all local laws and regulations applicable to your jurisdiction.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue this Service or any portion thereof at any time, with or without notice.
