S Corporations & LLCs taxed as S-Corp. (1120S) & Partnerships (1065) 

File by March 15^th or Request Extension!

Dear Client, Happy March!  Amid the pandemic distractions, the March 15^th tax filing deadline for S-Corp.s and Partnerships is approaching quickly.   Let’s finalize your filings if possible.  Otherwise, call or e-mail us to request an extension until September 15^th. 

S Corporation and Partnership Tax Filing Deadline is March 15^th

S corporation (Form 1120S) and partnership (Form 1065) tax returns for entities who use the calendar tax year are due March 15^th. You may request an automatic 6-month extension to file which extends your deadline to file to September 15^th.

Individual Tax Returns Tax Filing Deadline is April 15^th

Individual (1040) tax returns are due April 15^th.  Remember it is an extension to file, not an extension to pay your taxes. If there is a balance due on the return, interest will be assessed in addition to the tax.  We can help you determine an estimated tax payment to make with the extension in order to limit interest charges.  You may request an automatic 6-month extension to file which extends your deadline to file to October 15^th.

California Single Member LLCs Tax Filing Deadline is April 15^th

Single Member LLCs (Form 568) not owned by a pass-through entity are due on April 15th. The minimum $800 CA Franchise tax fee is due by April 15^th even if you request an extension to file until October 15^th.

C Corporation Tax Filing Deadline is April 15^th

C corporation (1120) tax returns are due April 15^th.  You may request an automatic extension to file which extends your deadline to file to October 15^th.
